I grew up the fourth generation on my family’s ranch in Cottonwood, Arizona. My great-grandparents started ranching in the Verde Valley in the early 1900s. My husband is also a native Arizonan and his family was first sheepherders and later cattle ranchers. Together we are raising our three children with a love for cattle and the land.
After we married my husband’s grandmother gifted us with the brand 9F and we now use it to identify our cattle. It was her father’s and she told us that the 9F stood for the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” –Galatians 5:22-23
Our cattle are raised on our family’s ranch, W Dart Ranch or Groseta Ranches, in Cottonwood and also on our ranch in southwestern Maricopa county. We are passionate about raising cattle, caring for the land and wildlife, and are thrilled to be sharing delicious Arizona beef with you and your family.
